Bicycles not behind protective glass displays or roped off, but bicycles you can actually see up close. Not only bicycles, but bicycle memorabilia that spans the full spectrum of bicycle history. Bicycles, bicycles and more bicycles. Surely, this must be what heaven looks like? Genuine Hobby Horses from the early 1800's. Ordinary bicycles from the 1880's. 懐かしのガリビエ峠

久しぶりにツールを見たら昨日と今日はちょうどガリビエ峠のステージです！2年前に超えたんだよ(^-^)/自転車で！懐かしいな。どれくらいの時間をかけたのか忘れてしまうくらい長い時間をかけて峠に辿り着いたのですが、彼らはテレグラフからガリビエを超えてなお、ラルプデュエズを登るというのですからまさしく超人集団だよね。特に今日は私のお気に入りの選手たちが頑張っているのでなおさらテレビに釘付けです。アンディ！トマ！アレアレッ！
ところで今年は8月の24日からフランス出張が決まりました。今年は4年に一度のパリーブレストーパリが開催されので観戦がてら諸々仕事をこなしてこようと思っています。

来週、日本語で新しく投稿します。 There are many things that make restoration difficult and certainly one of them is information. Getting photos and other information on bicycles that were manufactured over a half century ago is not easy. The vast majority of the manufacturers are long gone. A little over a year ago when I was searching for information to help me with parts for a NOS Hikari frame , I received an email from Shige-san with quite a few photos on Hikari bicycles. Shige-san is the proud owner of a very nice Hikari bicycle. So nice in fact, some of you may recall I used it as an example and ran a five consecutive post series on just how many times a company name/logo appears on one bicycle. It turned out that the Hikari mark or manufacturer's name DNB (Dai Nippon Bicycle) appeared approximately 120 times. 一年以上前のことです。
古き良き自転車が好きな「Ｓさん」から連絡をいただきました。
Ｓさんは結構古い自転車もパーツも多いのみならず、人脈がかなり広いです。
当時、 大日本機械工業の新古品光フレームをレストアする企画最中で 、光号の情報を集めているところでした。
Ｓさんは実に素晴らしい 「光号」 の持ち主で、写真を何十枚も送信してくれました。
その光号を取り上げて「マーク入り（社名・社ロゴ）」の5回連続投稿をしました。
この一台に約１２０箇所ほど社名・社ロゴが付いています。
