次回、この記事の日本語版を投稿します。 Thanks to two vintage Japanese bicycle fans, S-san and W-san we have had a rare opportunity to take a step back in time and view prestine examples of high-end models made by Hikari. Since I already own a NOS Hikari frame I decided to build my own Hikari. However, trying to find parts made over 55 years ago is not easy. Trying to find specific parts by a specific manufacturer for a specific model is nearly impossible. But, I managed to use genuine parts from the same period, early to mid-1950's, some genuine Hikari and some made by other manufacturers. 次回、この記事の日本語版を投稿します。 Recently, thanks to two vintage Japanese bicycle fans, S-san and W-san , we have had a rare opportunity to take a step back in time and view pristine examples of high-end models made by Hikari. Over the next few weeks I will attempt to piece together my own Hikari. Below is a photo of the Hikari model I am aiming for. This is what I am starting with, a NOS (New Old Stock) frame I found on Yahoo auction two years ago. Same frame as in the photo above. Over the past two years I have collected parts and will assemble in the next few weeks. Fortunately, a good portion of the frame still retained the original protective wrapping. First thing is a good cleaning to get rid of over half a century worth of dust, grime and dirt. 2010年11月21日 手賀沼?利根川ポタ/我孫子 松風庵 蕎麦ポタの先輩で蕎麦師匠でもあるhorikoshimさんリクエスト、 「坂が無いところを走りたい」というわけで広がりのある風景に最近はまっている東葛方面へ 都心を横断するのが嫌で手賀沼まで車載、道の駅「しょうなん」に車をデポ 手賀大橋から手賀沼、水質は悪いそうですがこの長閑な風景は中々のもの ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

昨日、一昨日と店長は毎年恒例の「ポリージャポン」に参加してきました。仕事の合間を縫っての強行軍でしたが天気もよく、よい気分転換になったようです。今回、ポリーでお披露目した自転車は１９４６年コンクールデュラルマン優勝車のアレックスサンジェでした。そして、これを復元させることは昨年亡くなったエルネストシューカ氏の最後の仕事でもありました。長年にわたる氏との個人的な思い出もエピソードもそしてこの自転車もすべてが宝物。そしてその一部を来年早々に発売予定のアレックスサンジェの写真集に掲載予定です。

2010年11月10日 モトスミブレーメン通り/元住吉 富士見庵(モトスミブレーメン通り店） 昨日横浜まで出掛けてしまったので家での用事が長引いてしまい２時をまわってしまった。 昼飯もまだ、遅い時間なので近い日吉を目指す。 近すぎるのでワザとこんな道を通ってみる。 このシングルトラック状の道、実は松の川緑道という緑道の始点周辺 常緑種が多いのかまだ緑が多いが、しっかりと柿が実ってます。 ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

吉田のうどんというのは農山漁村の郷土料理百選のうちの一つ。 なかでも、渡辺うどんというお店がおいしいらしい。 会社でもお得意先が近くにあって、そちらへ行くときは必ず寄るという話。 本日は、自分としてはロングライドとなる山中湖、いや、渡辺うどんが実は真の目的地。 朝5時に起きたものの、猫がえさくれとやってくるは、鳥も鳴き出すはで、普段の時間だと家内と2人がかりで朝食の用意をするわけだが、今日は一人でこなすので、結局えらく時間がかかってしまい、やっとこさ家を出れたのがすでに7時前で、なんと2時間近くもかかってしまう。風呂掃除もしたしね。いつものことか。 結構車が多いですね。 紅葉のシーズンだからでしょうか。 山中湖には一応国道の道志道を通っていくわけですが、この道、だら ...
